Darren Faulkner, Community Prevention Specialist

Darren Faulkner has over 20 years of professional work experience in the areas of corrections, counseling, substance abuse treatment and prevention, as well as non-profit management. He is passionately concerned about the health and well-being of communities and understands community starts with the individual.

Darren serves on the KCPT Community Advisory Board and is the secretary. Additionally, he is a member of the Heartland Community Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas City, MO, NAACP.

Darren serves on a host of other community forums and serves at his local church. Darren is a graduate of Drury University, Springfield, MO, where he received a degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Darren also received a Master of Divinity degree and is an ordained minister.

Darren’s philosophy is, “You can make it if you try and never give up.”
